The track on Route de Fleury is looked after by Moto-Club ASM 42 according to MX Circuit, with Eric Deschamp and president Simeone listed as contacts. The course is 1200 metres long and only 4.5 metres wide, and the ground is made of earth and stones. It runs on Sundays, Wednesdays and public holidays from 10:00 to 19:00, with a one-hour lunch break. A UFOLEP licence is required and a riding day costs 10 euros. Motorcycles, quads, dirt and pit bikes and sidecars are permitted, and toilets are available. A width of 4.5 metres is narrow even for a club track: the line is dictated for you, a mistake costs you the whole corner rather than a few metres, and you work with the clutch and throttle control more than with speed. Our records accordingly hold a tight, technical character on firm ground. That is exactly where an engine stalling in the slow sections sits top of our cause list - the usual reason is a dragging clutch or a flywheel that is too light. A flywheel weight or a properly set clutch free play takes the low-rpm stalling out.
