The Caraglio track in the province of Cuneo is run by Motoclub Caraglio and lies in the Vallera district on Via Giovanni Armando. The track directory mxcenter.it lists the circuit at 1,250 metres, describes the ground as medium-hard and gives a category 2 homologation through FMI and ASI. Operation follows the calendar: from 15 June to 15 September riding runs Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, for which the venue has floodlighting, and for the rest of the season Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In winter the track stays closed. There is a bar, 220 volt outlets and a minicross area, but no showers. Medium-hard, packed ground gives little back at the front: the front end feels vague and the grip arrives late. If that is what you notice, top of our cause list is too much air in the front tyre - drop the pressure and the contact patch grows, so the front reports back to you earlier. On a hard circuit that is the cheapest and quickest change you can make.
