MCEC Malchow was founded in 1999, belongs to the ADMV and has around fifty active members; the track is on Lindenallee in the island town of Malchow. It measures 1750 metres, is six to nine metres wide and contains sixteen jumps, among them a thirty metre table and a twenty-five metre finish table. The ground is recorded as a sand and clay mix. Practice runs Wednesday and Friday from 16:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 10:30 to 18:00, with Saturday requiring advance registration. Solo riders pay fifteen euros, children under fourteen ten; enduro bikes, quads and sidecars are allowed alongside motocross. Sixteen jumps in 1750 metres means you are rarely on the ground for more than a few seconds. That is exactly why the landing decides things here, not the take-off - land flat and long and you find the rhythm, land steep and you throw the drive away every time.
