ZC Hoxberg Lebach

ZC Hoxberg runs the motocross track on the Hoxberg near Lebach in the Saarland. The club publishes regular opening hours and states that no advance booking is needed: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, Sunday adults from 10:00 to 13:00 and youth from 13:00 to 16:00 up to a maximum of 85 cc. The track is closed on Mondays and Fridays. From Tuesday to Saturday a quarter-hour rule applies with the track use rotating constantly: adults ride 30 minutes at a stretch, youth 15. The day ticket costs 20 euros for adults Tuesday to Thursday and on Sunday, 25 euros on Saturday and 10 euros for youth up to and including 65 cc. Guest and club riders report to the track staff first, walking pace applies in the paddock, and riding without a dB killer in sport exhausts is not permitted. Members train free of charge on almost 200 open days a year according to the club; annual membership costs 50 euros up to age 16 and 85 euros above that, plus a joining fee, a deposit and helper hours. The club posts the current opening status on its social channels. Our record lists a clay surface with jumps and technical sections. Clay ground wears deep quickly under use: after a few hours there are pronounced ruts in which the front wheel, not you, picks the line. If the front knifes in there and oversteers, top of our cause list is a fork that is too soft, riding too low and folding into the rut. Add compression at the front.
