Val Vibrata - Colonnella

Val Vibrata lies in the Contrada Civita near Colonnella, at the very north of Abruzzo just short of the border with Le Marche. The operator is Ass. Colonnella in Moto, the track measures 1200 metres of dirt, holds FMI and UISP approval and is classed category 3. Riding is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 - in summer with a break from 13:00 to 15:00, and that break is not bureaucracy but how you deal with midday heat. There is no provisioning at all, no bar, no shower, no power. Use the midday break actively. Two hours are enough to change exactly one thing on the bike and check it properly in the afternoon - more than one change per session is something you cannot tell apart anyway. And on loam that one thing is usually the same: the front knifes in the rut and oversteers. Cause number one on our list is fork compression - set too soft it blows through and folds, so firm it up.
