Star Cross sits in the Contrada Santa Croce near Cordesco di Notaresco in the province of Teramo: 1300 metres of dirt run by MC Star Cross, category 3 with UISP approval. Riding is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 - four days a week is a lot for a club track. In exchange there is no provisioning at all: no bar, no shower, no power, no floodlights. If you ride from 09:00, come equipped for the whole day. Four riding days a week shape the ground. Sunday afternoon offers different ruts than Tuesday morning, and if you only come once a month you should spend the first session reading the lines afresh rather than hunting for the old ones. The mistake that costs the most time here: the front knifes and oversteers in the rut. Fork compression heads our cause list - set too soft it blows through and folds away in the rut. So wind it in.
