Slovakia Ring

Slovakia Ring sits near Orechova Poton in the Dunajska Streda district, roughly 30 kilometres from Bratislava airport. Construction broke ground in October 2008 and the venue opened on 1 October 2009. Wikipedia lists two Grand Prix configurations: variant 4b at 5.935 kilometres with 16 turns and FIA grade 2, and variant 4 at 5.922 kilometres with 14 turns and grade 3; track width is 12 metres. Series raced here include the World Touring Car Championship from 2012 to 2016 and again from 2018 to 2020, the FIM Endurance World Championship from 2017 to 2019, and the European Truck Racing Championship, which has been back since 2022. The operator itself advertises public riding and driving days for cars and motorcycles, test sessions, driving safety courses and vehicle rental; the site also holds a hotel, a restaurant, a military museum, off-road tracks, a kart centre and a motorhome pitch. A circuit of this length with long, fast sweepers loads stability above all: the bike spends minutes at a time leaned over at speed, and any restlessness costs confidence before it costs lap time.
