Sand Del Lee MX Park

Sand Del Lee MX Park is run by MX101 Inc. and sits on Conley Road in Ashton, southwest of Ottawa. MX101 marked its 55th anniversary in 2025 and describes the track as one of the oldest motocross venues in Canada; by its own account pro nationals and qualifiers have been run here every year since 2006. Alongside day passes and memberships there are summer camps, private lessons, open riding hours and a rider development programme called Talent Factory. A waiver is mandatory before riding, photo ID is required, minors need both parents to sign, and spectators sign too. The Triple Crown Series lists the track as round six on 19 July 2026, with spectator gates from 8am and first practice at 9am; children of six and under get in free. The series describes a fast, sandy natural-terrain layout with rolling elevation and sweeping corners that develops deep ruts and braking bumps as the day goes on, and that tests fitness as much as technique. Sand takes the calm out of the rear end: it swims and pogos as soon as it comes back too fast, and you lose the line exactly when you want to carry speed. Top of our cause list for that is a rear rebound that is too fast for sand - slow it down so the back end stops pogoing.
