MSV Schwanenstadt (Niederholzham)

The track sits in Niederholzham at Niederholzhamer Strasse 15 in 4690 Oberndorf bei Schwanenstadt and is run by Motorsport-Vereinigung Schwanenstadt. A report by meinbezirk.at on the sidecar motocross event of June 2022 gives the layout after the rebuild: 1836 metres with 13 jumps, 29 corners and two steep hillsides, reshaped for more flow and more speed. The same report places the history - the last sidecar race at this venue was held on 17 April 1983, and only 2022 brought the class back; the club president is Peter Aicher. Open practice times are not published anywhere: the track directory crossnews.at points explicitly at the operator, and the club site lists a phone number. Thirteen jumps per lap means thirteen landings per lap, and that is where a session is decided - either you carry on cleanly or the rear levers you out over the face. If the bike bucks up at you off a jump face, top of our cause list is rear rebound returning too fast: it releases while the wheel is still on the face and launches the rear. Slow it down, meaning fewer clicks out, then ride the same face again at the same speed to feel the difference.
