MSC Faistenau

A lot about MSC Faistenau in the Salzburg Flachgau is simply not on record, and we would rather say so than invent it. What is certain is the location near Faistenau at around 870 metres above sea level, and that our record lists the ground as hard. Opening hours, track length, fees and practice rules are not documented publicly anywhere we could find. That has two practical consequences. First: contact the club before you set off, or the drive turns into sightseeing. Second: at 870 metres the season is shorter than down in the lowlands. In spring and late autumn the ground decides, not the calendar - and the nights cool off earlier here, which keeps mornings wet while riders twenty kilometres below have long since started. What hard ground does to your riding is predictable, though: the front feels vague and the grip is missing. First item on our cause list is front tyre pressure - lower it. A bigger contact patch gives you back exactly the feedback that polished ground takes away.
