MSC Barth im ADMV e.V. has existed since 1967 according to mx-info.de and has around 100 members; its track lies near Prohn in the Vorpommern-Ruegen district. The course is 1,420 metres long and runs over heavy ground. The source describes 14 turns of varying radius, eight jumps from simple tables to doubles, two whoop sections and a pronounced berm. Riding is on Wednesdays from 15:00 to 18:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00; a training day costs 10 euros, the separate children's track of about 300 metres with four turns and two jumps costs 5 euros. Accident insurance is a precondition. Since 1976 the club has hosted a round of the state championship here, and the track is part of the ADAC Hansa MX Supercup series. Our records hold sand as the surface plus a fast character with plenty of jumps - exactly the combination in which the rear starts oscillating between whoop section and jump face and never fully settles. When the rear pogos and begins to swim in the deep sand, top of our cause list is rebound that is too fast: slow it down, a few clicks less out, so the rear stays down after the wave.
