The track of MSC Aschersleben e.V. sits near Wilsleben, roughly ten kilometres from the centre of Aschersleben. The directory mx-info.de dates the club to 1958 and describes a course of 1,700 metres on loamy topsoil that mixes supercross character with trial and enduro elements across about ten hectares: obstacles built from trees and concrete parts, tight turns, berms and straights in between. Riding is Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00, but for club members only; on Saturdays from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 guest riders are allowed as well. The day fee is 15 euros per vehicle, and guests have to register by phone beforehand. For infrastructure the source names toilets and a camping option. Loam offers a lot of grip while it stays damp, and then cuts deep ruts over the course of the day. Combined with the tight, technical sections that means the rut takes over the steering and the front wheel only follows. When the front knifes and oversteers in there, top of our cause list is a fork set too soft that rides too low and folds into the rut: add compression so it stays higher in the stroke.
