The track on the Route de Wattan in Looberghe in the Nord department is run by the Moto-Club Cappellois according to mxcircuit.fr; the club office sits in Capelle-la-Grande and can be reached on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 14:00 to 19:00. The course is listed at 1200 metres long and 4 metres wide, with a naturally grown layout on topsoil as the ground. Riding takes place on Wednesdays from 14:00 to 18:00 and on Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00; during the hunting season the site stays closed. A day costs 5 euros and an FFM or UFOLEP licence is required. Children may ride on the MX track; motorcycles only are allowed. Four metres of width leaves barely any alternative lines: you ride the corner in front of you and have to turn in early and precisely instead of letting the bike run wide. Top of our cause list when a bike will not hold a tight line is too little rear ride height - it makes the steering lazy. Raise the rear a little or drop the front, and the bike drops into the corner more willingly.
