The site of Motocross & Freizeit Club Riefensberg lies at Meierhof 121 in 6943 Riefensberg in the Bregenzerwald, close to the German border. The track directory mxmap.de lists it as a club-run track on hard pack and gives two riding slots per week for the summer: Tuesday from 16:00 to 19:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00. The directory puts the altitude at 635 metres. Track length, any day-rider rule and fees are not listed there; the club runs its own site and can be reached by phone, which is where you should clear those points up. Hard pack is the least forgiving surface there is: the ground barely gives, the tyre finds grip almost only through the size of its contact patch, and in flat corners the front wheel is the first to say so. If the front feels vague and simply will not bite, top of our cause list is too much front tyre pressure. Lower it, more rubber then lies on the hard ground, and you get back the feedback you were missing on corner entry.
