Track details
Dry hardpack turns hard, slick and dusty - little grip reserve, especially on corner exit.
After rain a greasy film forms on the hard base - very slippery until the surface dries.

The Baho track, west of Perpignan in the Pyrenees-Orientales, sits between the N116 and the D1 and is looked after by Moto-Club Mini-x-Trem, with Franck given as the contact. It is not a conventional MX track: across roughly 600 metres the layout is built supercross-style for pit bikes, with a mini-FMX ramp and automatic watering. Full-size motocross machines, quads and sidecars are not admitted according to mxcircuit.fr; riding requires a UFOLEP, FFM or FFM pit-bike licence and the day costs ten euros. Opening hours are not publicly documented. A short supercross lap means a lot of jump faces per minute and almost no track in between to sort yourself out. When the bike kicks off a face and throws you forward, top of our cause list is rear rebound returning too fast and launching the rear off the ramp: slow it down, that is, a few clicks less out.
