Ginosa sits on the road towards Marina di Ginosa, about six kilometres out of town and ten minutes from the sea - 1300 metres, category 3, UISP homologated, run by the local Moto Club Sannelli. The layout was deliberately reworked: the doubles were filled in, the whoops gave way to new jumps, a bank was added after the central straight and the finish section was rebuilt. A permanent irrigation system may be used during practice, and the paddock is fenced, lit and has power. Entry costs 10 Euro and there is a minicross loop. Remember the irrigation. On ground that has been ridden hard, watering is the difference between grip and an ice rink. Ask when it last ran while you pay, and plan your first session around the answer. The hardpack problem: the front feels vague and short on grip. Top of our cause list is too much front tyre pressure - drop it for a bigger contact patch.
