Circuit de Pau-Arnos

The Circuit Europeen Auto Moto Pau-Arnos lies in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques at the foot of the mountains. The operator's site gives a main layout of 3030 metres plus five derived variants between 3030 and 600 metres, with a track width between 9 and 12 metres. The venue holds FFM homologation for motorcycle competition - speed, endurance and sidecar - and offers motorcycle track sessions as well as riding courses. The infrastructure includes 30 garages, paddocks with full services, classrooms, a reception area and an additional multi-activity track homologated for karting. The operator describes the circuit as designed by professional car and motorcycle racers, and the setting as a valley basin at the foot of the mountains. Because six layouts share the same site and the short variants measure only a few hundred metres, depending on the configuration you ride a very twisty course with direction changes coming in quick succession. If the bike will not hold the tight line and carries wide of the radius: top of our cause list is too little rear ride height making the steering lazy - raise the rear, or drop the front, to sharpen the turn-in.
