About 60 acres on Sungarden Road near Green Cove Springs, roughly 35 miles south of Jacksonville: Bostwick Creek runs two motocross courses plus a separate peewee track and around four miles of trails open to bikes and quads alike. The ground is described as black, loamy soft dirt, and the layout brings small and large jumps, plenty of berms and shaded stretches between trees. It opens Wednesday 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday 9:00 to 15:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 17:00; Florida residents pay less than visitors, and annual memberships start below that. A spray wash, potable water, RV hookups and on-site overnight stays are all there. Budget more time than laps. Anyone trying to take in two tracks and four miles of trail in a single day ends up riding all of it at half effort - pick one and leave the other for the next visit. The classic on soft, deep going: the rear pogos and swims. First on our cause list is rebound that is too fast at the rear - slow it down, fewer clicks out, and the back end stops building itself up.
