Blaxhall Circuit

Blaxhall Circuit is run by Woodbridge & District Motor Cycle Club and lies near Woodbridge in Suffolk, signposted from the A12, postcode IP17 1LG. The club describes the venue itself as a sandy circuit with a flowing layout that uses the natural changes in elevation of the ground. Motocross, enduro and trials events run here, from club level up to national level: British Championship rounds were held here in the early 1990s, and more recently the British Open and the Under 23 Championship. The club does not publish practice times, fees or a track length on that page; if you want to ride, you have to ask the club for the dates. Our record holds sand, plus a fast character with an emphasis on jumps and technical sections. Sand combined with a flowing layout means the rear works constantly, digs in under power and wants to spring back after every hit before the next one arrives - and that is exactly where the pogoing comes from that carries you off line on the exit. Top of our cause list is: rebound is too fast for sand - slow it down (fewer clicks) so the rear stops pogoing. Treat that as a starting point and fine-tune it on track.
