Black Star Speedway Visonta

Black Star Speedway sits at the foot of the Matra hills near Visonta and combines an asphalt circuit with off-road ground. The operator states 1,130 metres of asphalt with 12 corners plus a 130 metre finishing straight; the layout can be run in both directions and in several configurations, and the operator says asphalt and screed are built to FIA rules. Two off-road tracks belong to the site: one is connected to the asphalt circuit, the second stands on its own and is suitable for motocross. The venue runs rental karts, motorcycles and cars, hosts company events and endurance formats over 24 hours, and the operator lists a round of the S1GP Supermoto World Championship. The house rules are explicit: your vehicle has to be in proper technical condition, whoever causes damage pays for it, and clearing oil off the track carries a listed charge of 50,000 forint. Construction work to enlarge the site has been running since 2024. What you ride here is supermoto: a short lap, constant changes of direction, hard braking points on tarmac and, in between, the switch onto the loose surface of the connected off-road section. Our record lists jumps and a technical character - the transition between the two surfaces and the edges in the dirt section are the hardest test of the day for the rear end. If the bike kicks off a jump face and bucks in the air, top of our cause list is rear rebound coming back too fast: it lets the shock extend while you are still on the face and throws the rear up. Slow the rebound down, a few clicks less out, then ride the same section again before you change anything else.
