Backing it in: releasing the brake and clutch
Supermoto · advanced · braking
Backing it in looks wild but it's really about smooth releases, not stabbing things. Start the slide with your body and the rear brake while you progressively release the front brake as you turn in - the rear steps out from the load transfer, not from suddenly locking it. Control the angle with your eyes and a feathered clutch/rear brake; stay loose and look through the corner to the exit. To gather it back up, ease off the brakes and feed smooth throttle - any abrupt input snaps the rear back and bucks you. This is an advanced skill: practise it first on a forgiving dirt section before you mix it into tarmac corners.
A starting point to verify on the bike - not a safety guarantee. Change one thing at a time and check on track.
