Read the race calendar and you know what this place is for. Reynard Raceway on S HWY 177 near Wellston, east of Oklahoma City, hosts the South Central Area Qualifier - one of the gateways to the Loretta Lynn championship - plus a round of the MotoPlayground Roots Tour. Alongside the race track the site has its own training complex. There are no fixed practice hours or prices: the operator puts it plainly on the front page and asks you to call before you haul. For your planning that means something concrete. A track running two championship events within weeks of each other in February is not a practice venue on those weekends, and in the weeks before it is being prepared for exactly those races. If you come to test, do not just ask whether it is open - ask what condition the course is in. Freshly prepped race dirt and a worn practice surface want two different setups. The mistake clay ground in deep ruts produces first: the front knifes instead of steering.
