South of Tulsa, on Highway 75 near Beggs, sits South 75 Motocross Park - and the most important information is in the calendar, not the track description. It opens Saturdays and Sundays only, 11am to 6pm, and it is practice exclusively. There is no racing here. A day costs 15 dollars a rider, which makes it one of the cheaper addresses in Oklahoma. Alongside the motocross side there is room for quads and for peewee riders. Plan the weekend honestly. Two days, seven hours each, and nobody pushing you into a race schedule - that is your chance to work on one single thing instead of counting laps. Pick one corner and ride it fifty times. Spend the seven hours chasing a personal best instead and you will drive home on Sunday evening slower than you arrived on Saturday morning. The clay hands you the classic problem with it: the front knifes into the rut and oversteers. We list the fork as cause number one - let it dive too far and the front folds away in the rut.
