The crossodromo of Moto Club Recoaro lies above Recoaro Terme in the province of Vicenza, at the foot of the Piccole Dolomiti, and is listed as a category 2 circuit with UISP and FMI approval. The Italian track directory records the ground as earth with stones, and it also states that the track opens only four or five times a year, on Sundays. The club itself takes bookings through an online form closing at 09:00 on the training day, riding runs in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:30, and an FMI or CSEN licence is required. There is a bar plus cold and hot showers, but no power and no floodlights. In June 2024 Recoaro hosted round four of the Italian vintage motocross championship; the layout was described for it as up-and-down, with flowing and twisting sections alternating and jumps scaled to classic machinery. The booking deadline is the thing to remember: if you are not on the list by 09:00 you do not ride - turning up in the mountains on a whim goes wrong here. In flat, uncambered corners the most common problem is the front pushing and washing out. Top of our cause list is fork compression - too firm, or the fork riding too high, and the front gets no bite; soften it a little.
