The circuit on the D131 near Rousson in the Gard carries the name Bruno Chaynard and is run by Moto-Club de Salindres Rousson under president Bernard Ganozzi. According to mxcircuit.fr it only opens on the last Sunday of each month; it stays closed through July, August and September, and also for the month before an event - the club deliberately rests the track ahead of racing. Riders who want more time can rent the track for training, per the same source. The lap is 1,970 metres long and 12 metres wide, and the ground is clay with wood chips worked into it. A day costs 10 euros and an FFM licence is required; motorcycles, quads and sidecars are permitted. The source lists toilets, showers and a wash bay. That width gives you several lines, and clay-based ground with wood chips builds grippy but shifting corner exits over the course of a day. Where the clay is fresh it holds; where it has dried out, the front suddenly lets go mid-corner. Top of our cause list for that is not the suspension but your body position: sitting too far back or dropping your elbow unloads the front, so sit forward, weight the outside peg and keep the elbow up.
