Motocross Loupiac (Puy-l'Eveque)

The Puy-l'Eveque circuit sits at the hamlet of Loupiac in the Lot and is run by Moto-Club A.C. Loupiac. The track directory mxcircuit.fr lists two loops: the motocross track is 1,100 metres long and 8 metres wide, with a separate 970-metre quad course next to it. It opens on the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 2pm to 7pm, and the second and fourth Saturday midday belongs to the youth school. A day costs 7 euros, a UFOLEP licence is required, and bikes, quads, dirt bikes, pit bikes and sidecars are all permitted. The same source lists showers, toilets, mains power and a wash bay, plus a riding school for children aged 6 to 12. The surface is described as sandy soil that gets watered often. Freshly watered it still carries you; over the afternoon it opens up and goes deep, and from then on the rear stops following cleanly and works against you out of every drive. Top of our cause list for that is rebound that is too fast for sand: slow it down, fewer clicks out, so the rear stops pogoing.
