The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli sits at Misano Adriatico on Italy's Adriatic coast. The technical data published by insella.it give a lap length of 4.23 kilometres at 14 metres of track width, with the longest straight staying under 600 metres. The venue opened in 1972; it ran the Italian Grand Prix until 1993 and the San Marino Grand Prix from 1985 to 1987. MotoGP returned in 2007 after a fourteen-year absence, and the rebuild that came with it turned the direction of travel from anti-clockwise to clockwise. The circuit has carried Marco Simoncelli's name since 2012. The recorded MotoGP lap record is 1:30.390 by Jorge Martin in 2023, with a documented top speed of 305.0 km/h.
