MC Demmin's track sits at the edge of town towards Stavenhagen, behind the metalwork business on Klenzer Weg. The club was founded in 1999, belongs to the ADAC, has around a hundred members and looks after a site of roughly 30,000 square metres; the track itself is about 1500 metres long and sandy, with a clubhouse, toilets and a watering system. Practice runs Wednesday 09:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, Friday 09:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00, and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00. Riding is banned on public holidays. 50cc and 65cc ride free, 85cc pay ten euros, everything else twenty. One point deserves to be taken seriously: call at least a day ahead. The club does not staff the track continuously, and without someone on site you will be standing at a locked gate - developing young riders comes before walk-up traffic here. The problem sand brings to almost everyone: the rear pogos and swims. Top of our cause list is shock rebound set too fast for sand - fewer clicks out, and the rear stops building itself up.
