Elevator, Triple Extension, Downhill Table, Downhill Triple: Hurricane Hills on Route 106 in Greenfield Township names its jumps one by one, which tells you what the place is about. Add the rocker section called the Ten Commandments, modelled on a feature at Loretta Lynn's, a dirt start with a traditional AMA starting gate, and a control tower that handles rider meetings and sign-up. The venue is part of the District 34 Tri-State Trax Series. Track length and surface are not documented anywhere. Two of the four named jumps go downhill, and that is where the day is decided. Downhill jumps do not forgive too much throttle at the lip - roll off earlier than feels right and let the bike leave the face instead of kicking it off. The mistake jump faces punish most often: the bike kicks and bucks instead of leaving cleanly. Top of our cause list is rear rebound that is too fast and launches the back end off the lip - slow it down, which means fewer clicks out.
