Fossa del Diavolo sits in the Borgo Marzi district of Senigallia, province of Ancona. The official tourism portal of the Marche region describes the venue as a track with the morphological characteristics of a racing circuit: numerous climbs and descents and many jumps that, in that account, are rideable across different skill levels. The access rule named by the same source is what decides your trip: you may only ride there with an FMI licence and/or a UISP card. Our own record holds roughly 1400 metres of length, hard ground and a technical character with jumps. When one jump follows the next, a rear end that returns too quickly punishes you: the bike kicks off the face, the front comes up and you lose control of your attitude before you are even properly airborne. Top of our cause list here is rear rebound returning too fast - slow it down so the shock stops launching you off the lip.
