The Crossodromo Cavallara sits at Via Cavallara 2 in Mondavio in the province of Pesaro-Urbino and, according to the mxcenter track directory, is run by Moto Club Cavallara. It is listed at 1600 metres, hard ground, category 2 and FMI homologation, and the regional Mxcircus circuit guide for the Marche gives the same headline figures. Opening times are Saturday from 14:00 to 19:00 and Sunday from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 19:00, with Sunday afternoons closed in July and August. On site there is a bar, a cold shower and 220-volt outlets; there is no hot shower and no floodlighting. Fees are not publicly documented. On a compact, hard circuit it is not top speed that counts but the ability to hold a tight line and keep it all the way through the exit. If the bike feels lazy on turn-in and runs wider than the radius you picked, the tyre is rarely the reason. Top of our cause list for that is too little rear ride height: raise the rear or drop the front so the steering geometry gets sharper and the front wheel turns in sooner.
