Cross Park 58 sits in the Tetti Valfre hamlet of Orbassano, south-west of Turin, on Strada del Ravetto, and is run by the Orbassano Racing moto club. The directory mxcenter.it gives the length as 1800 metres and lists the venue in category 4 with FMI and AICS homologation. According to that entry it opens on Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 to 18:30 and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 18:30. There is a minicross track and a bar; showers, 220 volt outlets and floodlighting are not available. The directory explicitly notes that the published times can change without notice. Fees are not publicly documented, and the club web address recorded in the listing no longer resolves. Our own record has Cross Park 58 down as a jump track, and that is what a session here comes down to: hit the faces often enough and you quickly learn whether the rear leaves cleanly or the bike starts working against you in the air. If the machine kicks you off the face and the rear snaps up instead of flying straight, top of our cause list is rebound coming back too fast - the shock pushes back on the lip and launches the rear. Slow the rear rebound down, a few clicks further in, then watch the same jump again.
