The crossodromo of Rivarolo Canavese lies in Piedmont on the bank of the river Orco and is reached via the Strada Comunale delle Gave off provincial road 222; from the A5 motorway out of Turin or Milan you take the San Giorgio exit. It is run by MxRivarolo Canavese ASD. The mxcenter.it track directory lists 1,870 metres of length, ground made of earth and sand, category 2 and homologations from FMI and ASI. It is open on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10:30 am to 7 pm, and on request beyond that. On site there is a bar, cold showers and a minicross area; hot water, 220 V sockets and floodlights are not listed. Earth with a sand content takes water without the surface setting like concrete - the ground stays workable, and on our record the layout is characterised by its jumps. You will notice that on the landings: when the shock goes to the bottom of its stroke and passes the hit straight through to you, top of our cause list is rear high-speed compression that is too soft - add some so the landing is caught under control.
