The Circuit du Val de Vienne lies near Le Vigeant in the Vienne department and, according to the operator, has existed since 1990. The track is around 3.7 kilometres long, runs over 13 corners and has a straight of roughly 1000 metres on which more than 270 kph is reached in the GT category. The venue holds an FIA Grade 2 homologation. The operator lists a restaurant, a paddock cafe, private lounges, press and conference rooms, a control tower with a video centre, pit boxes, a paddock area, accommodation and an attached technopark. Driving courses and passenger laps are offered by the operator itself; concrete prices and booking rules for track days are not published on its home page. Thirteen corners over that distance means little time between braking points, and the bike has to follow the moment you turn in. If it feels lazy and the tight line runs away from you, too little rear ride height is top of our cause list. Raise the rear or drop the front so the steering sharpens up. And since dates run through the operator and are not openly listed, sort the booking before you travel.
