The Valle Scrivia facility at Cassano Spinola in the province of Alessandria is run by Moto Club Cassanese according to the mxcenter track directory, which lists it as category 2 with FMI homologation and a minicross track. The same directory gives opening times on Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 19:00, with a bar, cold and hot showers and 220-volt outlets, but no floodlighting. The Federazione Motociclistica Italiana describes a fully built-out site: around 17500 square metres of track area, some 30000 square metres of paddock, 35000 square metres of parking and a permanently installed irrigation system. The federation also announced the closing motocross race of the 95th Sei Giorni, the International Six Days of Enduro, here. Neither source names an entry fee. A groomed, irrigated hard-pack circuit of this size carries speed, and speed does not forgive a crooked balance: through long fast sweepers the bike starts to weave and feels unsettled as soon as the rear sits high relative to the front. Top of our cause list for that is ride height that was never set: sort the sag out before you touch a single clicker.
