The Crossodromo Belvedere sits outside Casale Monferrato in the province of Alessandria and, according to the mxcenter track directory, is run by Moto Club Italo Palli. The directory lists it at 2000 metres, hard ground, category 3, with a minicross track on site. It opens Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 9:30 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30, with pasta served over the lunch break. There is a bar, cold and hot showers and 220-volt outlets, but no floodlighting. The Endurcrosschannel directory describes the approach via the Casale Nord motorway exit, then across the Po bridge towards Coniolo-Pontestura and, after roughly five kilometres, left at the track signs. Day rates are not publicly documented. Hard ground gives the front tyre very little to bite into. Once the surface has dried out, the size of the contact patch decides whether the front hooks up or simply skates over the crust, and on a fast layout with jumps that shows up first as a vague, wandering feel at the bars. Top of our cause list for that is too much front tyre pressure: bleed a little out before your first session so the tyre puts more rubber on the ground.
