The Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Lombardy is owned by the communes of Monza and Milan and operated by SIAS S.p.A., according to Wikipedia. The facility was built in 1922: it opened officially on 3 September 1922 and the first race, the second Italian Grand Prix, followed on 10 September 1922, which makes Monza one of the oldest continuously operated circuits anywhere. The current Grand Prix layout measures 5.793 kilometres with 11 turns, asphalt is documented as the surface, and capacity is given as 118,865 spectators. The Italian Grand Prix has been held here since 1949, interrupted only in 1980 when the track was closed for refurbishment, and the Italian motorcycle Grand Prix has also visited at various points. Its nickname, the Temple of Speed, is earned: Formula 1 cars run at full throttle for nearly 80 percent of a lap, and a maximum speed of 364.1 km/h is recorded. The source we checked lists no track day dates or fees - ask the operator. Monza is a sequence of long full-throttle stretches broken up by a handful of very hard braking points and chicanes. For you that means the bike has to stay calm at high speed for a long time, and you brake from a velocity at which any restlessness in the chassis makes itself felt straight away.
