Moto-Club Talensac runs the Le Val-Beuzet ground beside the D363 in Talensac; the president is Jean-Francois Durand. The track directory mxcircuit.fr describes the course as a natural layout, only motorcycles are permitted and a UFOLEP licence is required. Riding happens on two dates a month - the second Saturday and the fourth Sunday afternoon - and only from November through April. Fees are not publicly documented, and neither is a childrens track or any sanitary facility. The source names neither length nor soil; our own record holds roughly 1500 metres and loamy ground. A natural layout follows the terrain instead of a line drawn on a desk - the radii keep changing and you correct more often than on a built course. Our record accordingly lists Talensac as technical, and technical tracks punish tension quickly with arm pump after a few laps. Top of our cause list for that is simply gripping the bars too hard: ride with loose arms from a centred attack position, light hands and heavy feet, and you take the load off your forearms.
