Riccia lies in the Molise hinterland, about 20 kilometres from Campobasso and five from Riccia itself, in the Contrada Campense. The 1700 metres of dirt are run by A.S.D. Moto Team Monti Sanniti; the track holds FMI and UISP approval and is classed category 3. By Italian standards the facilities are generous: bar, cold and hot showers, 220V in the paddock - only floodlights are missing. It opens Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and there is a dedicated minicross track, which makes the place worth the drive for families with young riders. 1700 metres is long for a regional track. Ration your session: two clean laps back to back teach you more than six where the last three are just admin. The classic on this ground: the front knifes in the rut and oversteers.
