Castel di Sasso

At 1600 metres Castel di Sasso is one of the longer loops in Campania: run by Motoclub Cerbone, category 3, homologated by FMI and AICS, earth surface, in the province of Caserta. Sixteen hundred metres change how you structure a session. On a short provincial loop you correct a mistake twenty seconds later; here you carry it around for what feels like an age, and by the end you are only covering distance instead of learning. So break the lap into two or three parts and work on just one of them per session. The classic on earth that keeps getting deeper: the front knifes and oversteers in the ruts. Top of our cause list for that is the fork - set too soft it rides too low and folds; wind on the compression, and if that is not enough, reduce the fork protrusion through the clamps.
