The Red Stag Enduro Extreme park sits in the middle of the Lower Austrian alps and, at 15 kilometres of trails, is a different category from any motocross lap: this is not about lap times but about trails that fill a whole day. The operator aims explicitly at both ends - recreational enduro riders and professionals - and the trails are graded accordingly. Riding happens on fixed dates through the season and tickets are booked in advance; turning up on spec is not provided for. The ground is loamy and the terrain technical, with plenty of off-camber and tight sections. Fitness decides more here than engine power.
