Track details
Dry sand gets deep and physical - the front wants to knife in; traction comes from throttle and the rear suspension.
Damp sand hooks up and gets faster - more grip, but heavier, blunt braking zones.

- 1,550 m
The track sits beside provincial road 139 at the junction to the Bussi hamlet in Villafranca Piemonte, province of Turin, and is run by MC Piccola America ASD according to the directory mxcenter.it. It is recorded as a category 3 venue, 1550 metres long on sand, with a minicross loop of its own. Riding days are Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, from 09:30 to 17:30 in the winter months and from 09:00 to 19:30 in summer. Listed facilities are a bar and a cold shower; hot showers, 220-volt outlets and floodlighting are absent. Confirm the riding days before travelling, as the details can change. Sand carries the bike differently from a firm surface: under power the rear squats, the bike stands up and runs wider on corner exit than you planned, especially in tight corners where you get on the throttle early. Top of our cause list is rear low-speed compression that is too soft - add a little so the rear holds up under load.
