Olindo Bovolenta

The facility at Bovolenta south of Padua is run by the club Wallaby Tex ASD on Via Mons. Giulio Babolin and is homologated by CSEN and FMI. The operator lists two tracks: an Easy Track with four avoidance zones for the first riding lessons, and the motocross track proper of roughly 700 metres, whose ground is dirt and clay and which is laid out as a simplified supercross course with jumps and parabolic turns. Riding runs in rotating shifts by skill level, on your own machine or on a rental bike including gear; there are also minicross courses from age six and coached cross lessons. On its own site the operator states that the place is closed on Tuesdays. The directory mxcenter.it, by contrast, lists daily operation from 15:00 to 19:00 in winter and from 15:45 to 19:30 in summer, plus hot and cold showers but no bar, no 220-volt outlets and no floodlights. We hold it as a tight, technical venue, and that fits the picture: a short lap, many direction changes, a course for practising rather than for rolling. Because the statements on shifts and on the closing day differ between the operator's site and the directory, call the club and confirm your slot before you set off.
