MX Park Haueda

MX-Park Haueda near Warburg is run by MSC Desenberg, and the club states access unusually plainly: a traffic light at the track shows red for closed, yellow for members only, green for open. Opening is Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 2 pm to 7.30 pm, Saturday from 10 am, Sunday 10 am to 2 pm for kids' training and then until 6.30 pm. During kids' training the track is shut. A day membership costs 20 euros for adults and 15 for children and juniors; the annual membership is 100 euros, or 140 for a family. One point matters more than any opening time: as a guest rider you call ahead, or you stand in front of a locked gate - the place is not permanently staffed. The character is hilly, and that moves where your training effort goes. It is not the corner that decides here, it is what you do with the throttle before the climb. The problem that will almost certainly catch you on a climb: the rear spins and loses traction. Top of our cause list is too much rear tyre pressure - drop it for a bigger contact patch, which a mousse makes risk-free.
