MSC Geisleden in the Eichsfeld runs one of Thuringia's longest laps at 1910 metres - hilly, on hard ground. The club is an ADAC local club and introduces its riders individually on its site, which speaks for its youth work. Nearly two kilometres with elevation change is a different category of fitness from the usual 1400: the climbs decide things towards the end of a session, and anyone who goes too hard too early loses the closing laps entirely.
