Track details
Dry loam is the ideal case: grippy, forms lines and forgives mistakes.
After rain loam turns heavy and sticky - knobs pack up and the bike feels noticeably heavier.

Kaplice is not a place to try things out. The Czech portal MX trate calls the track very demanding and its jumps huge and, for beginners, plainly dangerous - while being genuinely instructive for experienced riders. Riders from the Czech championship rate it among the hardest tracks in the country. 1630 metres, on a base of roughly 80 per cent loam and 20 per cent sand. If you go, plan the first session as reconnaissance: jumps that size need a read approach, not an estimated one. The sand share works in your favour - it takes landings more softly than pure loam.
Track condition today
