Track details
For MSC Gödnitz in Saxony-Anhalt neither surface nor track length is documented; what is established is the character: technical and rich in jumps. The club runs a tightly organised training operation - Friday 2 to 8 pm, Saturday 9 to 12 and 1 to 7 pm, Sunday 9 to 12, plus four Wednesday dates a year. Important for planning: training is by prior registration only, and it has to be in at least three days ahead - turning up on spec does not work here. On a technical track with plenty of jumps the difficulty rarely sits in the single element but in the transition: come out of a tight section badly and you have already spoiled the run-in to the next jump. Work on the links, not the jumps. The typical problem on jump faces: the bike kicks instead of leaving cleanly. Top of our list for that is high-speed compression at the rear - too soft for the face, letting the rear kick back.
