MCS Schrecksbach

Motorsportclub Schrecksbach runs the natural-terrain track am Bodenrain on Kodenhoeferweg in Schrecksbach. Motocross Magazin gives 1685 metres of length, classic hard ground, steep climbs and descents and demanding forest sections, and lists the venue as a former world championship track; after a one-year break a MSR championship round was held there again in 2024, with eleven classes, free spectator entry and a day-licence class for guest starters who could still enter on race morning. MX-Info states a day fee of 10 euro for members and 20 euro for guest riders, an annual membership of 28 euro for adults and 8 euro for juniors under 18, plus sanitary facilities and a camping option. There are no fixed training slots for guests: the club serves its members' needs first and publishes the dates on its own site. Hard natural ground with steep descents means one thing above all: small, fast chop builds up into braking bumps before the corners, and that is exactly what reaches your hands and forearms. If the fork goes harsh on it instead of working, top of our cause list is low-speed compression at the front that is too firm - open it a few clicks so the fork can follow the small chop.
