Svetec near Teplice is briefly described and quickly ridden: a natural hillside track on classic loam, 1300 metres, and according to the Czech portal MX trate a properly fast one. Hillside tracks have a habit you only notice after a few laps - climbing you need revs and drive, descending the front end takes far more load than it would on flat ground. If the fork bottoms on the downhills although it feels right on the level, that is the topography rather than the setting itself. Classic loam also means grip is excellent after rain and turns greasy once the wet sets in.
