Two statements exist about Reyvroz in the Chablais, and they contradict each other: France's largest track database currently lists the Moto-Club Reyvroz circuit as closed, while other directories list it as a members-only track requiring an FFM or UFOLEP licence. Clear that up before you drive into the Haute-Savoie - a natural earth track with no published opening hours is not one you simply drop in on. Track length and altitude are not documented. What is established for Reyvroz is the character: technical, with off-camber sections. And off-camber is where riders overtake themselves - not with more speed but with more patience on turn-in. Eyes far ahead, weight to the outside, throttle only once the bike is upright again. The problem that hits almost everyone there: the front pushes and washes out in the flat corner. Top of our cause list is a fork that is too firm, riding high and building no front grip - take compression out so the front actually gets loaded.
